There is a lot of talk about the need for 'User Installed Applications' to be able to persist between non-persistent / freshly provisioned VDI sessions.
While we all agree user Personalization Settings must persist between such sessions, there is surprisingly a level of pushback from some people saying they do not see the need for users to be able to install their own personal productivity applications and application/Office Plug-ins and IE Add-ons etc...
So, what do you think? - Do you understand and recognize the requirement for 'User Installed Application' technology?
And if so, how are you going to address it?
